![]() Poor araby looks like it's going to be 1-2 provinces. I really like the vortex map, I wish all of the detail could be kept with the old world for the ME map, so maybe game 3 will do it justice. Seeing the new map, it's a little weird that we didn't get Nagash in Mortal Empires in WH2 - it had all the right geography in Nehekhara, plus Desolation of Nagash and Nagashizzar, all the regions of the WH world relevant to undead races, plus all the undead races. ![]() Tomb Kings and Wood Elves (assuming you have Warhammer 1) are my recommendations, two very fun and very different campaign experiences. After that, race packs add the most value in my opinion. Unlocking the Mortal Empires mode and slapping five additional races into it is absolutely worth the money. Markus still has his campaign quirks in ME, but loses that feeling of really being all alone in a hostile jungle that his Vortex campaign has since if need be he can run away back to the empire. Warhammer 1 is the best DLC for Warhammer 2. Nakai in ME starts in Albion, just outside of Norsca, which is a bit of a pain and feels out of place. The Vortex campaigns for Nakai and Markus are thematic and interesting, and lose a little in Mortal Empires. Bearing the faces of Nehekhara’s illustrious pantheon, these Ushabti use spear-sized arrows and the fear of the gods to strike at the unfortunate foe. Though Vampire Coast on the ME map is a lot of fun too, their playstyle encourages roaming, so having the entire sea to sail around makes the world feel bigger. Existing only to serve, the Hawk-God’s blessed archers deliver his swift justice a rain of death from above long after their own lives have ended. I assume you meant Vampire Coast instead of counts if so them and Tomb Kings have a nice and fairly focused campaign on the vortex map. Amazons, Chaos Dwarves, High Elves, (Khemri) Tomb Kings, Necromantic. The Lustria, Southlands, and Naggaroth maps are bigger and more detailed and make those campaigns a little more interesting imo. GW, Games Workshop, Citadel, White Dwarf, Space Marine, 40K, Warhammer, Warhammer. Total War: Warhammer 2 is about to offer a significant bonus for players who’ve stuck with the series in the form of a massive campaign map combining the boards from the original and the. Tomb King, Vampire Count, some lords that have new mechanisms like Nakai, Hunt Marshal, etc.įor them I would suggest Vortex.
